Busily promoting on the east coast, Katy Perry was spotted leaving her hotel in New York City on Tuesday morning (June 15).

Clad in a colorful palm tree frock, the "Thinking of You" singer strolled past paparazzi as she hopped into an awaiting car to tend to the day's agenda.

In related news, Miss Perry recently chatted with MTV News about her "California Gurls" video which features Snoop Dogg.

She tells, "It's definitely something to watch when you have the munchies. ... It's all edible. [Plus,] Snoop is in it."

Katy continues, "We named it 'Candyfornia' instead of 'California,' so it's a different world. It's not just like, 'Oh, let's go to the beach and throw a party and then shoot a music video!' It's more like, 'Let's put us California Gurls in a whole different world!' "

"The boys always dream about dating a California Gurl ... just because we've got the sun shining 365 days a year," she laughingly added. "And I love New York girls. I think they're hot, and I think they have a lot of attitude. But I'm telling you, when it comes wintertime, they're all gonna be singing 'California Gurls.' "

Living it up in London, Katy Perry was spotted looking quite sexy as she arrived back to her London hotel on Saturday (June 12).

The "Thinking of You" singer donned a stylish USA/UK all-in-one dress as she exited her chauffeured vehicle with a few companions following a night on the town.

Wearing the sparkly ensemble as the United States took on England in the World Cup, Miss Perry tweeted of her cheering issues, "OMG I'M SO DIVIDED RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!"

With the match ending in a 1-1 tie, Katy seemed quite pleased with the outcome, as she later wrote, "EVERYBODY WINS!!! I LIKE THAT! (Plus as an american marrying a englishman... I am DIVIDED)"
